Pomegreat heats up chiller competition

Pomegranate juice brand Pomegreat is launching two new chilled juices.

Pomegreat Sapphire, a blend of pomegranate and blueberry, and Pomegreat Ruby are aimed at the premium chilled juice market. They are the first to use the whole of the pomegranate fruit to make use of its rich antioxidant qualities.

"We are confident that our new range of pomegranate juices will become major players alongside more traditional juices," says Pomegreat marketing director Rob Sutton. "We believe Pomegreat can drive category growth in the chiller just as we have in the ambient aisle."

The packaging design, by Embrace Brands communicates the health benefits of the fruit and seeks to strengthen the brand's positioning as a premium juice. The design will also roll out across the whole Pomegreat range to create consistency on the chilled and ambient products.

The new variants will be supported by a £1.2m PR campaign including print and outdoor advertising.
